SL-W vs NZ-W, New Zealand Women’s Tour of Sri Lanka: The New Zealand cricket board announced the schedule of the T20I and ODI series against the Sri Lankan women’s team from 27th June to 12th July 2023 in Sri Lanka.
The New Zealand women’s team will play bilateral ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka Women. Both teams are excited for the ODI and T20I series.
SL-W vs NZ-W ODI series is a part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25 and based on the ICC Women’s Championship standing, teams will get automatic qualification to the ICC women’s World Cup 2025. Currently, New Zealand women stand at the 3rd spot, whereas Sri Lanka women stand at the 7th spot. Both teams are going with full strength to improve their ranking in the championship points table.
NZ-W will play three One Day Internationals matches and three Twenty20 Internationals matches against Sri Lanka. In this Tour, Matches are played at two stadium, First one is GICS, Galle, whereas other is P. Sara Oval, Colombo. All ODI matches will be played at Galle International Cricket Stadium from 27th June to 3rd July 2023, whereas all T20I matches will play at P. Sara Oval from 8th July to 12th July 2023.

SL-W won home series against BAN-W:
SL-W won their last series against Bangladesh women by 2-1. Sri Lanka women played 3 T20I matches series against Bangladesh women at home and they lost the first match of the series by six wickets then they came back in the next match and won the match by seven wickets, whereas in the last match of the series, SL-W beat BAN-W by 44 runs.
