2. Rahmanullah Gurbaz – 9

With his whirlwind innings of 40 off just 18 balls, he totally demolished all Sri Lankan hopes by getting his team of to a great start. 3. Ibrahim Zadran – 6.5

Ibrahim Zadran who got run out at the score of 15 could have certainly remained not out otherwise. His fairly good contribution helped his side get ever so close to the target after the fall of Rahmanullah. He thus gets a 6.5 out of 10.

The left-handed didn’t really have much to do in the game as he remained not out on 2 as his team reached the target inside 11 overs. He held onto a catch while on the field to dismiss Pathirana. He thus gets a 5.

5. Karim Janat – 4

Pretty similar to Zadran, Karim Janat too didn’t have to make any significant contributions to his team’s emphatic win neither with the bat nor on the field . He thus gets a 4.

Afghanistan’s captain Mohammed Nabi was absolutely sensational with the ball. His figures of 2-14 overs were amazingly good. Also his incredible bowling changes helped the side chole the opposition. He thus gets an 8.

7. Rashid Khan – 7

Rashid Khan was economical with the ball and conceded just 12 runs in his quota of four overs. The fact that he wasn’t able to pick any wickets in a match where the opposition team got all out was a sort of surprise though. He thus gets a 7 out of 10.

Omarzai bowled just one over in the match and was hit for 20 runs. The only poor performer for Afghanistan in the match and this he gets a 4.5.

With his mystery of spin, Mujeeb once again was successful in choking the runs and picking wickets in today’s game. His spell of 2-24 in 4 overs was crucial for his side to trouble the opposition batters. He gets a 7.5 out of 10.
