PAK vs BAN 2nd Test

PAK vs BAN 2nd Test: A humiliating loss at home in the first test against Bangladesh would have left scars on the souls of the Pakistan Cricket Team but it is high time to make the series level and Pakistan would be fielding their best side to take on Bangladesh. This post predicts the Strongest Pakistan Playing11 for PAK vs BAN 2nd Test.

Pakistan were in unduly good condition even at the Stumps of DAY 3 but Musfiqur Rahim’s 191-run innings proved to be the game-changer. Bangladesh owned DAY 4 and DAY 5 and it seemed Pakistani Players were startled by the unplanned actions.

The batting department of Pakistan was quite up to the mark if Babar Azam can a bit of form back, but the concern is bowling. We have often seen Pakistan not having a good bowling all-rounder, and then a part-time bowler comes in, giving some time to the batting team to recover.

Covering all those points, here is our prediction of Strongest Pakistan Playing11 for PAK vs BAN 2nd Test:

Saim Ayub is a future star and he along with Abdullah Shafique is a pretty decent combination that Pakistan have in the squad. Now, here comes the concern; Skipper Shan Masood comes to bat at number three, which is not a bad position for him to bat but he needs to have some runs on his bat.

Abdullah Shafique

Masood’s test numbers are just unacceptable considering he is the captain of the Test team of Pakistan. Being a top-order batter, he has been bating with an average of 28 and a strike rate of 49. These stats might suit a 7th-number batter but not a top-order batter.

Babar Azam comes to bat next and he too needs to fire from his bat right from this match or his team will lose another one. Following him, Saud Shakeel and Md Rizwan are the best batters at numbers five and six.

Agha Salman hasn’t shown his game till now but he is a good player of spin. This ability and the number he is given holds the perfect combination.

Coming to the bowling department, there are going to be some changes. In the first look of the pitch, it seemed like a lush green surface, and of course, they would chop off the grass a day before the match.

Shaheen and Naseem Shah are immovable from their spot and if the surface is left with a good green tint, Khurram Shahzad is also playing. Can’t understand why Shan Masood picked Mohammad Ali in place of Abrar Ahmed or Mir Hamza. Either Abrar or Hamza have to be included in the playing 11 for the last test or it will again be a weak bowling attack for Pakistan.
