Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Sunil Narine has been declared fit for the clash against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 11th match of the league will be taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 31st March.
Sunil Narine missed the last game for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The all-rounder was unwell and hence had to miss the game. In his place, the franchise added Moeen Ali to the team and the all-rounder didn't disappoint, picking three wickets.
Since he missed the last game, there has been a lot of speculation about whether Sunil Narine will be fit for the next game against Mumbai Indians or not. The all-rounder was seen training with the franchise at the Wankhede Stadium and was seen working on his range hitting.

However, with a game against Mumbai Indians around the corner, Kolkata Knight Riders head coach Chandrakant Pandit has provided the fitness update about the all-rounder. He mentioned that he is fully fit and will play the match against five-time Champions.
Speaking to reporters, Chandrakant Pandit said: "Sunil Narine is 100 per cent fit and recovered for the game against Mumbai Indians".
Sunil Narine is likely to get his place back in the team. He looked in good touch in the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He played a magical innings while opening the batting and also played a crucial role with the ball, picking one wicket.
Sunil Narine is expected to play a major role for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2025. He was the Most Valuable Player of the Season last year when the franchise won the title last year. He contributed equally well to the team with bat and ball all throughout the season.
Kolkata Knight Riders lost their opening game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. But after that, they made a dominating comeback, beating Rajasthan Royals to bag important two points.
