Pakistan will meet England on 13 November (Sunday).

But what will happen if rain interrupts the final?

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, if the match gets completely washed out due to rain then Pakistan and England will be adjudged as joint winners. Both the teams will share the winner’s purse if the final is abandoned, no result is possible, or if a Super Over cannot be completed after a tied result. In addition, 30 minutes of extra time is on the cards for the summit which ends on Sunday.

“If the match has started on the designated day and the overs are reduced after a subsequent interruption, and no further play is possible, the match shall resume on the reserve day at the point where the last ball was bowled. “

Notwithstanding a minimum of five overs per side for the group stages, at least 10 overs must be bowled by each side to make up a match in the semi-finals and final. There will be a reserve day, where two hours can be allotted to finish the match, with the start time scheduled for Monday at 3 pm.
