T20 World Cup 2024: Scotland, Ireland, and Papua New Guinea have Qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024: The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be held in the West Indies and the United States. It will be the first time that this tournament will be held in two countries.
The top eight teams from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 automatically qualify for this tournament. The two hosts, the West Indies, and the United States, also qualified automatically for the tournament. The remaining six teams qualified through regional qualifiers that were held in Europe, East Asia-Pacific, Americas, Africa, and Asia.
Scotland, Ireland, and Papua New Guinea qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 by winning the Europe Region Qualifier, finishing as runners-up in the Europe Region Qualifier, and winning the East Asia-Pacific Region Qualifier, respectively. They have all worked hard to qualify for the tournament, and they will be hoping to make an impact.

Scotland qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which was held in Edinburgh from July 20-28, 2023. They occupied the first spot in the Points Table with ten points, whereas Ireland was at the second spot with nine points and Germany at third with five points.
Scotland’s qualification was a major achievement, as they had never previously qualified for a T20 World Cup. Scotland was led by Kyle Coetzer, who had played wonderfully for his team and led them into ICC Tournament.
Ireland also qualified for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup by finishing as runners-up in the Europe Region Qualifier. They were also the runners-up in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Qualifiers, which gave them a direct spot in this tournament.
Papua New Guinea qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 through the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier 2023, which was held in Port Moresby from July 21-29, 2023. Papua New Guinea tops the table with ten points.
