Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored the most runs for Afghanistan; he scored 47 runs in 62 balls.



In bowling, captain Shakib Al Hasan and Mehndi Hasan Miraj took three wickets each, while fast bowler Shoriful Islam took two wickets, while Taskin Ahmed and Mahmudullah got one wicket each.



The Bangladeshi team, chasing the target of 168 runs, did not have a special start. Opener batsmen Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das were out in the power play. But after that, there was a 100-run partnership between Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Najmul Hossain Shanto. Mehndi Hasan played an inning of 57 runs in 73 balls, while Shanto remained unbeaten after scoring 59 runs in 83 balls.
