<p><strong>England Tour of Pakistan 2022: </strong>It has been 17 years since the England cricket team reached Pakistan for a T20 series and later for three Test matches. This England tour of Pakistan is for the first time since 2005 ahead of the T20 World Cup in Australia. While it may have been over a decade since the national team visited Pakistan, several squad members from the England side have participated in the PSL in Pakistan over the years. This historic tour will not only be a test of England's bench strength, with some of the first-choice players not available for the Karachi leg including captain Jos Buttler but will also serve as good preparation for the T20 World Cup 2022.</p>

<p>England has called on some inexperienced players for the tour (England tour of Pakistan), including five debutants. Opener Jason Roy has been left out after struggling for runs all summer, averaging 12.66, while Chris Jordan (finger) and Liam Livingstone (ankle) are not featured in Pakistan due to injuries. Captain Jos Buttler has been included in the squad for Pakistan but is recovering from a calf injury and is expected to play only in the later part of the tour, with Moeen Ali leading the side.</p>

<p>Four young batsmen batted like seasoned veterans at the top of their game as Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes sat back and observed, displaying what can happen when you have the guts to stand by your beliefs and give players the support they need to play freely. Zak Crawley scored a brilliant hundred for confirmation, Ben Duckett scored one for atonement, Ollie Pope displayed maturity and consistency, and Harry Brook scored the finest of the bunch from 80 balls in just his second Test innings.</p>

<h2><strong>England Vs Pakistan: 1st Test | Day one | Review</strong></h2>



<p>On December 1, the first of three Test matches kicked into gear at Rawalpindi Stadium (Rawalpindi). After winning the toss, Ben Stokes elected to bat first, and their decision was vindicated by their batsmen. Crawley scored 14 runs in the very first over of the test, which itself is a test record for England cricket.</p>



<p>Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett got the visitors off to a fantastic start, compiling century stands in 13.5 overs on a pitch that was almost nil for the bowlers. Crawley reached his century in 86 balls, and Duckett quickly followed. Ollie Pope reached the century, but Root was unsuccessful in his attempt to play an aggressive sweep. Harry Brook had the opportunity to become England's fastest Test hundred after hitting Saud Shakeel for six fours in a single over, but he slowed down in the 90s and fell short of the record. He scored a hundred today, becoming the fourth England batsman to do so, and he did it in just 80 balls. Stokes rushed into T10 mode and quickly reached 34 off 15 balls. Light came to Pakistan's rescue to end the misery of the day.</p>

<p>On the first day of a Test match on Thursday, England became the first side to score 500 runs, crushing Pakistan in Rawalpindi. At the end of the play, the tourists had posted a score of 506-4 thanks to the hundreds of four English batsmen. Australia scored 494 runs against South Africa in Sydney in 1910, breaking the previous record for the opening day of a test match.</p>



<p>Only four other times, three by England and one by Sri Lanka, have more than 500 runs been scored in a single day, but never on the first day of a Test. In a 1936 test match against India, England amassed a score of 588 to set the record.</p>

<p>No other England opener has scored a century faster than Crawley's in 86 balls. England's 174 without a wicket before lunch was their highest score in the first Test season and the record books don't tell us that 6.74 an over is the best ever, but it must have been a great performance to beat.</p>

<p>On Thursday, the 23-year-old Harry Brook, who smacked six fours in a Saud Shakeel's over, personified England's incredibly exciting style of cricket by extracting 27 runs from a Zahid Mahmood over. <p><strong>England Vs Pakistan: 2nd Test | Day 1: </strong>Pakistan vs England, 2nd Test of England tour of Pakistan has been started on Friday, December 09 at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. After their thrilling 74-run victory in the first Test, England are on a high and maintained that momentum into this match in Multan, and their efforts on the day reflected this. It was clear by watching the England batters early on that they intended to play aggressively in this game too as like the first test match. When England was batting, it was like watching a T20 game with the red ball.</p>



<p>Unlike the previous Test match, England struggled to manage their aggressive approach from the start.? They had a strong start, going 8 overs without losing a wicket and having 38 runs on the board already. <p>England got a decent push with around 5 runs per over from the very beginning of the innings. Babar, the Pakistani captain, gave the ball to newcomer Abrar Ahmed in the ninth over. In his very first over, he clean-bowled Zak Crawley by exploiting the space between bat and pad. That googly was a beauty.</p>



<p>Ben Duckett then took charge and quickly crossed the half-century. Ben Duckett, who was looking threatening, and Pope put together a 79-run partnership. Once again, the debutant took the wicket, this time it was Ben Duckett. Ollie Pope was able to get 50 runs and hit a few boundaries, however, he was brought down by a reverse sweep off an Abrar Ahmed delivery.</p>

<p>Then, the mystery of the newcomer Abrar Ahmed completely astounded the English batsmen. Every single England player was having trouble finding the proper shot. At one point, England were 231 for 7 wickets down, and all seven wickets were in front of <a href="https://www.espncricinfo.com/player/abrar-ahmed-734459" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Abrar Ahmed</a>'s name. <p><strong>England Vs Pakistan:</strong> An excellent day for England. Day 2 of the second test between England and Pakistan brought much more action in the game as Pakistan were bundled out for 202 runs and England added 202 runs to the lead while they also lost 5 wickets. Jack Leach of England was the top performer for the side, and Babar Azam of Pakistan scored the most runs.</p>



<p>Ben Duckett and Harry Brook hit the fifties as England extended their lead over Pakistan to 281 at Stumps on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test in Multan. Let?s take a brief review of day 2-</p>

<h2><strong>England Vs Pakistan: 2nd Test | Day 2| Review</strong></h2>



<p>Pakistan started the day with a lot of hopes with just&nbsp; 2 wickets down. 107 for 2 wickets, Pakistan started day 2 with a few lovely drives and boundaries. Babar and Shakeel added 35 runs in the morning. Shakeel scored his 50. It was the first bowl of Robinson that flew the bails of Babar when he was looking stable at 75 runs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Afterward, English bowlers began to put pressure on Rizwan, and his first run came in the 28th ball he faced. As soon as Leach sent Rizwan to the pavilion as well, the Pakistani batting order collapsed like a house of cards. Although the session lasted 35 overs, England was able to dismiss the hosts for 202 runs.</p>

<p>What an unlucky call for Zak Crawley as he got run out on his own call where it wasn't even a run. Now the pitch was behaving slowish and offering no bounce which affected the batting. The Day-1 Hero Abrar Ahmed shines again and took down Will Jacks with a beauty. A 54 runs partnership between Root and Duckett came to an end with Abrar taking down Root. Abrar later also clean bowled Ben Duckett as the ball kept a low bounce.</p>

<p>Brook is toying with those Pakistani bowlers and at end of day 2, he remained not out for 74 with Stokes at 16. England are now at 202 with the loss of 5 wickets gaining the lead of 281 runs.</p>

<p><strong>PAK vs ENG | 3rd Test: </strong>What a form of Test cricket has the England team displayed in the past few weeks! So far it seems that this aggressive approach in red-ball cricket is suiting England's color. England won the first two test matches with complete domination over Pakistan in their home, which has set a pure example of demolishment.</p>



<p>The third test match of the England tour of Pakistan is currently in action. The approach of the Englishmen is the same as like before and they have put Pakistan on the edge of losing this match too. Would you believe me if I say "80 odd runs in just 11 overs in the 4th innings of a Test match"? Of course not! But this is the brand of cricket England have introduced in the Test. England need 55 runs to win the 3rd test match.</p>

<h2><strong>PAK vs ENG: 3rd Test | Match review (summary)</strong></h2>



<p>This is the third test match between England and Pakistan. Starting with winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bat first. They tried the exact same tactic as England did in the last two matches. Every batter attacked the England bowling and they lost wickets too but eventually, Pakistan's innings ends on a good note with 304 on the board on the evening of Day 1.</p>

<p>England's innings didn't take a leap at the start but the Youngster Harry Brook is having an absolutely miraculous tour of Pakistan. He hammered another century on this tour and England rode his innings and went past Pakistan to 354.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The moving day of this Test match has indeed moved on at a rapid pace. Pakistan's second innings started well but they lost 3 quick wickets within 12 balls and then Babar with Saud Shakeel stitched a 110 runs partnership which came to an end with Babar's wicket. England men's youngest Test debutant <a href="https://www.espncricinfo.com/player/rehan-ahmed-1263691" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rehan Ahmed</a> took the breeze on his own and became the youngest to hit a 5 wicket haul on the debut. This Stopped Pakistan on 216 with a lead of just 166 runs. The Target for England was set at 167 to win the third Test.</p>

<p>50 runs in the 6th over of the test match! That is England's way of domination. England started out by attempting to collect the runs before the closing. In 11.3 overs, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett scored 87 runs, Rehan was moved up to No. 3 as a "night-hawk," and then Ben Stokes attempted to hit Nauman Ali for a six but was stopped by bad lighting with 55 runs still needed.</p>
