<a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=PAK+vs+NED" rel="nofollow">PAK vs NED</a>, Pakistan's T20I Tour of Netherlands is Postponed Due To The Scheduling Reasons | Pakistan Tour of Netherlands 2024: On the request of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), ICC postponed <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Pakistan" rel="nofollow">Pakistan's </a>tour to the Netherlands, which included three T20I matches, and the series was initially scheduled for May 2023, just before the T20I World Cup 2024.



Pakistan had a busy schedule in 2024 before the <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/category/t20/t20-world-cup/" rel="nofollow">T20I World Cup 2024</a>, as they will play three T20Is against Ireland and four T20Is against England. Such a tight schedule of the Pakistan Cricket Team before a tournament led to a high workload on their players, which is not good for player's fitness.



The Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Board (KNCB) manager, Roland Lefebvre, is not happy with the decision made by PCB to postpone the T20I series. The Three-match T20I series against Pakistan means a lot for the Netherlands as it will help them test their bench strength before the ICC Men's T20I World Cup 2024.



Netherlands qualified for the ICC Men's T20I World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to be held in the West Indies and USA. All the teams are now focusing on the T20I format after the end of the ODI World Cup 2023, and the Australian Team won the tournament by defeating the host India.

Netherlands and Pakistan played three ODIs last year, which Pakistan easily won by 3-0. Pakistan completely dominated the Netherlands in all three matches, but the Netherlands showed exceptional cricket in this series against a strong Pakistani bowling line-up.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">PAK vs NED, Pakistan made many changes in the coaching staff after the World Cup 2023:</h2>



Recently, Wahab Riaz was appointed as the new chief selector of Pakistan, whereas Umar is now the new fast bowling coach, and Saeed Ajmal has been appointed as the new spin bowling coach of the Pakistan Men's Cricket Team. These changes were made in Pakistan's coaching staff after having poor performance in the ODI World Cup 2023.



Pakistan failed to qualify for the World Cup 2023 Semi-Finals as they played nine matches in the league stage, out of which they won only four games. Pakistan didn't play their best cricket in this tournament, which cost them a lot. Babar Azam also resigned as the captain of Pakistan Men's Cricket Team from all three formats.

Previously, Suryakumar Yadav was leading the Indian Team in T20I cricket in the absence of Rohit Sharma but now, Rohit Sharma will be the captain of the Indian Team in the T20I series against Afghanistan.



The Defending Champions, England is present at second position with a rating of 256 and 12,305 points in the latest ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings. Indian Team have a rating of 265 which is far better than England and now, they will be playing three more T20I games, which will increase their rating more.



New Zealand has occupied the third position in the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings with a rating of 254 and 13,988 points whereas Pakistan is in fourth position with a rating of 251 and 13,325 points. Pakistan will be playing a five-match T20I series against New Zealand hence both teams have a great opportunity to improve their position.



The ODI World Cup 2023 Winner, Australia is in fifth position in the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings with a rating of 250 and 9,760 points which is pretty much good but they didn't perform well in the T20 Internationals in the last year. South Africa, who will be hosting T20I World Cup 2024 is in sixth position in the ICC T20 Team Standings with a rating of 249.

After having lots of meetings with the players and coaching staff, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced their new skipper for the white-ball cricket. Previously,<a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Shaheen+Shah+Afridi" rel="nofollow"> Shaheen Shah Afridi </a>and Shan Masood were leading the T20I and ODI sides but PCB named Babar Azam as their new skipper in both T20Is and ODIs after Shaheen Afridi failed to perform in the recent series and also in the PSL 2024, where his team Lahore Qalandars finished the tournament at the bottom of the points table.



In a surprising turn of events, <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Babar+Azam" rel="nofollow">Babar Azam</a>, who stepped down as skipper of the Pakistan National Cricket team from all three formats now, reappointed as a captain of Pakistan's T20I &amp; ODI teams. The ICC Men's T20I World Cup 2024 is scheduled to start on June 01, 2024, and PCB wants their best team in the tournament.



However few months back, Shaheen Shah Afridi was appointed the captain of Pakistan Men's T20I team, this decision came after Pakistan had a poor performance in the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023.



But Shaheen lost a five-match T20I series against New Zealand by 4-1. He was also leading <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lahore_Qalandars">Lahore Qalandars </a>in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 but he did a poor job there too and failed to qualify for the PSL 2024 Playoffs. Therefore, PCB went with their most experienced and successful captain for the White-ball cricket, especially for the T20 World Cup 2024.

Babar's reinstatement marks a significant shift in the PCB's strategy for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. Mohd. Rizwan was also the one of main contenders to get the captaincy as his team Multan Sultans won the PSL 2024 but Babar Azam has numerous victories in white-ball cricket and he led the team quite better than others.

Star commentator Harsha Bhogle has announced his squad for Team India for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup. While the entire country is desperately waiting for the announcement of the 15 - member squad who will play against the other Cricketing giants in this year's mega event, Harsha has straightforwardly picked players for his predicted squad. BCCI are yet to announce India's squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup and the meeting for the squad announcement is going to take place on 27th April in Delhi.&nbsp;



Talking about the predicted squad of Harsha Bhogle, he has chosen Yashasvi Jaiswal as the opener alongside skipper Rohit Sharma. Bhogle criticized the strike rate of Kohli in this year's IPL but he has included him in his squad.&nbsp;
