Dhruv began his career bowling off-spin, but later switched to wicket-keeping and impressed everyone. In addition to being a middle-order batsman, he became a wicketkeeper.



Dhruv has played 15 first-class matches for Uttar Pradesh 2022, scoring 790 runs, including a century and five half-centuries. Dhruv has also competed in 10 List-A and 23 T-20 matches. Rajasthan Royals (RR) included him in their team during the IPL 2022 mega auction for a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
