Now, following in his footsteps, a Nepal wicketkeeper has also been successful in producing two run-outs, and that too within the same match. Similar to MS Dhoni of the Chennai Super Kings, Arjun Saud of the Biratnagar Super Kings absolutely amazed everyone with two stunning runouts.



Even though Janakpur Royals defeated Biratnagar Super Kings on Monday (December 26) in the ongoing Nepal T20 League, wicketkeeper Arjun Saud's heroics have won everyone's hearts.



Arjun Saud, the wicketkeeper, was in superhuman form behind the stumps in the ongoing Nepal T20 League. Sundeep Jora was run out by Arjun Saud in the ninth over of the game after throwing the ball to the stumps while in the air in a somersault position.



Arjun Saud struck again two balls later when he collected a throw from the deep and, in typical MS Dhoni manner, almost immediately threw the ball straight to the stumps without even looking at them. Rajesh Pulami was the unfortunate batsman who was on the receiving end of the run-out.

Arjun Saud's efforts behind the stumps remained ineffective as the Biratnagar Super Kings lost the match by a margin of 5 wickets. While batting first, the Super Kings lost all 10 of their wickets while posting a total of 140 that was hardly competitive. Sikandar Raza led the team in scoring with a powerful 38 from 18 balls. The Janakpur Royals' primary bowler, Lalit Rajbanshi, took 5 wickets for just 8 runs.



The Royals then chased down the target losing just 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Chadwick Walton scored the highest 69 runs in 55 balls for the team.

ACC Premier Cup 2023 is a 50-overs cricket tournament of Asian teams scheduled in April. The winning Team of this Tournament will Qualify for the Asia Cup 2023, and the top three will qualify for ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023.



ACC Premier Cup 2023 is hosted by Nepal, all the matches of this Tournament will be played at two famous cricket stadiums in Nepal. One is Tribhuvan Cricket Ground, and the other one is Mulpani Cricket Stadium. A total of 10 participants will play 24 matches in two groups.

ACC Premier League 2014 was the first edition of this Tournament held in Malaysia from 1-7 May 2014. Afghanistan won the first edition of this Tournament, and they topped the group stage by winning 4 out of 5 matches.

Asia Cup 2023: Nepal cricket team scripted history as they thumped UAE by 7 wickets in the final of the ACC Premier League to book their berth for the first time in the Asia Cup. Bowling first, after winning the toss, they bowled some impeccable lines and lengths and troubled the UAE batters in the high-pressure game. L Rajbanshi made the opposition batters dance to their tones and picked 4 wickets for just 14 runs.&nbsp;

PCB invited BCCI chief secretary Jay Shah to watch the first Asia Cup 2023 to boost relations with India. PCB wants to boost relations with India to promote more cricket between both these nations.



The decision to go to Pakistan to watch the opening match of Asia Cup 2023 was on Jay Shah. The offer from PCB was not accepted by Jay Shah yet. 



Experts say that there is a strong possibility that Jay Shah will go to Pakistan to watch the Asia Cup match, keeping in mind that India is going to host World Cup 2023 in October and November 2023, and expected that India would invite all participating Nations Chief to watch the World Cup match.

Jay Shah approved Pakistan's Hybrid Model to host Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan. PCB invited him as a chief guest of Asia Cup 2023. Sri Lanka and Pakistan have been chosen to host the Asia Cup 2023.



ACC Asia Cup 2023 was scheduled from 30 August to 17 September 2023 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Teams are divided into Two Groups; each group consists of Three Teams. India, Pakistan and Nepal are in Group A, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group B.



India and Pakistan teams have yet to announce their squad for Asia Cup 2023. Jay Shah will announce the squad of the India Team on 23 August 2023 after the completion of the NCA training camp of the India Team ahead of the Asia Cup 2023.



Pakistan is going to host any major cricket Tournament after 2005. Jay Shah played an important role in the Asia Cup host selection. After India agreed to Pakistan's Hybrid model to host the Asia Cup with Sri Lanka. 



In Asia Cup 2023, a total of 13 matches were scheduled in which. Pakistan will host only 4 Group matches, while Sri Lanka will host nine matches, including All Super Four and Final matches.

For 30 years, the Asia Cup was played just in the ODI format till 2014 but then, T20I format was added to every alternative year. As we know, the 2022 edition was a T20I format Asia Cup, it will be a 50-over Asia Cup this time around.

This edition of the Asia Cup is going to be played in a 50-over format. It will be 5 years since the Asia Cup was last played in ODI format. Pakistan was the official host of Asia Cup 2023 previously.



Although Pakistan is the tournament's official host, just four of the 13 games will actually take place there; the rest will be played in Sri Lanka. As a result of political tensions between India and Pakistan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to visit Pakistan land and ACC decided not to hold the event there. Then, ACC and PCB designed a hybrid approach to play the ASIA Cup 2023.



The six-team tournament will have two groups with three teams each who will play each other in a single round-robin format. The team ending last in the respective group will be eliminated at the end of the group stage.



The remaining four teams will head forward to the next stage and face off against each other in the Super-Four stage. These four teams will play 6 matches in this stage and the TOP 2 teams of Super-four will head to the Finals of Asia Cup 2023.



The final of Asia Cup 2023 will be played on 17 September in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued a warning to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over the jersey controversy ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This comes after the Indian governing body refused to write 'Pakistan' on their kits for the tournament. 
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is all set to be hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), is scheduled to begin on 19th February. The preparations for the tournament are on, and the ICC and the PCB are taking every step possible to make sure that everything is right on track. 
However, a controversy recently erupted after BCCI refused to write Pakistan on their jersey for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Notably, every participating nation, as per the ICC policy, has to write the name of the host nation below the logo of the tournament on their jersey. 
After BCCI refused to sport it, Pakistan Cricket Board officials made a strong statement, saying that BCCI is trying to use politics in every matter. He, however, mentioned that they are hopeful that ICC will support them and India will be asked to write the name of the jersey on their kits for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Following this, BCCI also reacted, and the insider from the governing body said that since they are playing in Dubai, it isn't mandatory for them to wear the 'Pakistan written jersey'. The BCCI also stressed that they didn't write Pakistan's name on the podium of the Trophy tours as well. 
Amid all this, ICC has come up with a strong response for the BCCI. An ICC official mentioned that it is the responsibility of the host nation to add the tournament logo to their jersey. He stated: 
"It is the responsibility of every team to add the tournament logo to their jerseys. All teams are obligated to comply with this rule," an ICC official said as per A-Sports, as quoted by NDTV. 
Not only this, it is learned that the ICC also warned BCCI that they would be taking strict action if they didn't wear the Pakistan-written jersey during the tournament.
