In the fourth Test match being played between England and India, Ben Stokes and company batted first and scored 353 runs in the first innings while batting 104.5 overs. Dhruv Jurel, who came to bat at number seven in the ongoing Ranchi Test match against England, scored 90 runs in India's first inning. Dhruv began his career bowling off-spin, but later switched to wicket-keeping and impressed everyone. In addition to being a middle-order batsman, he became a wicketkeeper.



Dhruv has played 15 first-class matches for Uttar Pradesh 2022, scoring 790 runs, including a century and five half-centuries. Dhruv has also competed in 10 List-A and 23 T-20 matches. Rajasthan Royals (RR) included him in their team during the IPL 2022 mega auction for a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
