However, they recently took to their X handle and confirmed a revised schedule under which the tour will instead start a day later, on July 27th. <br> <br>India will now start their T20Is against the Sri Lankan side on July 27 as they play their first three matches of the shortest format of the game at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pallekele_International_Cricket_Stadium">Pallekele</a>. They later move to Colombo on the 31st, as they will play their three ODIs in the capital city. <br> <br>Recently, the BCCI replaced the World Cup-winning coach of the Indian side, Rahul Dravid, after the end of his extended tenure. World Cup-winning veteran Gautam Gambhir has been appointed to the role, and this will be his first series with the Men in Blue. <br> <br>The Men in Blue are yet to announce a squad for their upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
