<a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Asia+Cup+2023" rel="nofollow">Asia Cup 2023:</a> The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants to host more than four matches of the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan. This year, the tournament is scheduled to be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, as four matches will be played in <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Pakistan" rel="nofollow">Pakistan</a>, whereas the rest nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka.



PCB ensures Asian Cricket Council (ACC) that they will provide full safety to all six teams, including India, and they should be allowed to host more matches. They want Pakistan vs Nepal match in Multan as there are more viewers than Lahore.



The concern of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the safety of their players, and Indian Government will not allow Team India to play cricket in Pakistan. The BCCI has refused to send its team to Pakistan since 2008 due to security concerns.



BCCI will not send <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=India" rel="nofollow">Indian players</a> to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, even if more matches were to be played there. Ultimately, the decision of how many matches Pakistan will host will be up to the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).



The ACC may agree to increase the number of matches that Pakistan hosts Because Pakistan is threatening India that They will not play World Cup 2023 in India and are demanding neutral venues.



India and Pakistan have played 132 matches in ODI cricket, In Which Pakistan won 73 matches, whereas India won only 55 matches and four matches had no results. In the last five years, India has been way stronger than Pakistan in any format.

On Monday, December 9, the much-awaited wait for the race of the successor of Jay Shah has been announced. Roger Binny, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has announced former Indian wicket-keeper Devajit Saikia from Assam to serve as interim secretary of the BCCI.
Saikia is all ready to work as interim secretary until the elections are done for this post. The position is still open as Jay Shah began his stint as the chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Binny has used his special command as BCCI president and appointed the joint secretary as interim secretary for the time being.
Notably, the BCCI needs to host the elections for the next secretary within one and a half months or 45 days from the day Jay Shah left the position. According to some reports, the BCCI management already has had internal talks about the next secretary, and the person for this position is likely to have a tenure for close to one year, around September 2025.
Jay Shah began his new role as the ICC chairman on December 1, and he joined this position as an independent member. That means he can't engage with any other board while serving as ICC chairman. That is why it became important to appoint an interim secretary for the BCCI.

Kohli has featured in 23 Ranji matches between 2006  to 2012 debut against Tamil Nadu, scoring 1,574 runs at an impressive average of 50.77, including five centuries. His highest score—173—came against Bengal. A stellar 2009-10 season earned him a Test call-up, and in 2011, he made his debut in whites against the West Indies.
