The most anticipated Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Mega Auction is about to get underway, as all the franchise officials and BCCI enters the auction hall in Bangaluru. The live-action of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction will begin at 12 noon on 12th February 2022.
Day 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Mega Auction is all set to commence today at 12 PM in Bangaluru. The two new debuting IPL franchises will join the existing eight IPL teams at the auction table to start bidding for the players. Gujarat Titans and Lucknow SuperGiants will join Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals.
The IPL 2022 Mega Auction will be a two days affair that will be held on 12th and 13th February. The live stream of the mega auction will be available on Disney Plus Hotstar while the live telecast will be on Star Sports Network.
Day 1 ended on a high for a couple of franchises, while a couple of franchises remained silent. Delhi Capitals was the most active and got their picked players for a great deal while Mumbai Indians (MI) remained silent.
