TATA IPL 2023: Best 5 Batting Partnerships to Watch Out For in TATA IPL 2023.

The TATA IPL 2023 is going to be a tournament full of fun and excitement. Over the years we have seen many dynamic duos bat together in the TATA IPL. Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni are one such duo and so is the combination of Virat Kohli and AB De Villers. Back in the day, we were also blessed to witness Sachin and Ponting bat together in 2013. The TM Dilshan and Chris Gayle partnership was a rage in the early 2010s. So, who are the top 5 partnerships to look out for in the TATA IPL this season?

1) Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan will bat together for the Mumbai Indians in TATA IPL 2023:

This is a top choice opening partnership for the Indian national team. The Mumbai Indians will be glad to have two of the best Indian batters on their team. Ishan and Rohit complement each other. Ishan goes “slam-bang” from ball 1 on his day. And Rohit Sharma likes to take his time. Ishan is left-handed while Rohit is right-handed. This makes a bowler’s life miserable as he must change his angles continuously.

2) KL Rahul and Quinton De Kock will Bat Together for the Lucknow Super Giants in TATA IPL 2023:

KL Rahul and Quinton De Kock scored 35% of the cumulative team runs of the Lucknow Super Giants! You take them out and the Lucknow Super Giants will be like a heart that doesn’t pump. They do the bulk of the scoring and do so with authority. KL Rahul takes his time while Quinton De Kock attacks. De Kock deals with the left-arm pacers against whom Rahul tends to struggle while Rahul deals with the off-spinners. They complement each other very well. It will be great to see the duo this season.

3) Ravindra Jadeja and Ben Stokes will Bat Together for the Chennai Super Kings in TATA IPL 2023:

Two of the best all-rounders will be playing in the middle order for the Chennai Super Kings. If MS Dhoni takes the finisher’s role, Jaddu will bat at number 6 and Ben is expected to bat at 4 or 5. This makes it more than obvious that we will have instances of Jaddu and Stokes batting together. Both of them are the top all-rounders in the world. One cannot simply forget Ravindra Jadeja hitting 5 sixes of Harshal Patel in his prime. Ben Stokes and his batting needs no introduction. One doesn’t simply have 2 IPL hundreds!

4) Hardik Pandya and David Miller will Bat Together for the Gujarat Titans:

Hardik and Miller are the two engines of the Gujarat Titans. The Titans have Gill at the top and these two experienced batters in the middle who do most of the scoring. Hardik and Miller each managed to cross the 500-run mark last season and the Titans eventually ended up as champions. Miller is known to take the game deep and win it from crunch situations and so is Hardik. They also form the ideal left-right combination. But here there is no escape for the bowler as both attacks from the word goes!

5) Glenn Maxwell and Virat Kohli will Bat Together for the Royal Challengers Bangalore:

On his day, Glenn Maxwell is going to demolish the opposition. While on the other hand, every time, Virat Kohli is going to causes some damage. If not impactful, he will certainly manage to score a decent number of runs at a strike rate of 130-135. Virat will bring out his drives while Maxwell will bring out his short-arm jab!

Now if we put both these ingredients together it makes a deadly combination. Imagine Maxwell having a good day and even Virat feeling himself. In such cases, the opposition can only pray to the lord! There will certainly be more than one instance of both these players batting together.
