TATA IPL 2023: RR VS PBKS Result: Updated Points Table, Purple Cap, Orange Cap after RR VS PBKS. 

Here is a quick look at the updated points table of the TATA IPL 2023, post the Punjab Kings VS Rajasthan Royals game. PBKS won the game.

TATA IPL 2023 witnessed another thriller. The Punjab Kings have won against the Rajasthan Royals in TATA IPL 2023. The game went down to the wire with both teams trying their best. This north Indian derby of the TATA IPL 2023 was very interesting. Shikhar Dhawan was the star with the bat along with Prabsimran Singh. They set a humongous total of 197-4. The Rajasthan Royals’ bowling was taken to the cleaners.

When Rajasthan came out to bat they tried to promote Ravi Ashwin to open the innings. This move failed and Yashaswi Jaiswal was sent back to the pavilion early. Sanju Samson was their top batter. Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel also came to the party when it mattered. But the game saw the Punjab Kings emerge victorious.

Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel tried to chase down 40 runs in the last two overs. It was down to 18 in the final, but Sam Curran bowled a great ultimate over to seal the game. The Punjab Kings are now placed 2nd in the points table with 4 points. They are leading along with Gujarat Titans.

Shikhar Dhawan is the latest entrant on the list of top run-getters. He is ranked number 3. He has scored 126 runs from 2 games, just below Kyle Mayers. He has an average of 126 as he has been dismissed only once. Dhawan has been providing electric starts to the Punjab Kings. His reverse sweep over the fence for a six was the star shot of the match. The Punjab Kings are making the optimum use of the powerplay overs, all thanks to Shikhar Dhawan. Like every season, Gabbar, as he is known, is in contention for being the highest run-getter.
