Rishabh Pant to play IPL 2024 as pure batter
In a bit of comforting news for Delhi Capitals, their premier player Rishabh Pant is set to make a comeback in the upcoming edition of the IPL. Though he will be available just as a batter and captain, his presence will be a huge boost for Delhi Capitals.
Rishabh Pant missed the IPL 2023 after going through a near-fatal road accident in the wee hours of the New Year 2023. The southpaw miraculously escaped the life-threatening episode and is now on the verge of making his IPL comeback.
In Rishabh’s absence, Delhi was led by Australian batter David Warner in the IPL 2023. Delhi finished in the penultimate position during the last edition of the IPL with 5 wins and 9 losses off 14 games in the season.
