TATA IPL Points Table 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad played exceptional cricket against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 18th match of TATA IPL 2024 and won the match by 6 wickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. It was an excellent game between SRH and CSK but after the victory SRH has occupied 5th spot in the TATA IPL Points Table 2024 as they have four points with an impressive net run rate of +0.409.
Now, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) registered their second victory of the tournament and they will be looking to replicate the same in the upcoming matches. The Player of the match was Abhishek Sharma as he played a fantastic inning of 37 runs in just 12 balls and led SRH to comfortably win the match against Chennai Super Kings.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played decent cricket with bat in Hyderabad:
Chennai Super Kings batted first but they had a poor start as CSK made only 48 runs in the powerplay with the loss of one wicket despite the wicket being good for batting. All credit goes to SRH Pacers, who hit the perfect line and length and tried their best to didn’t let CSK batters hit boundaries and dominate the game.
However, Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube made a crucial partnership of 65 runs for the 3rd wicket but they could have played a little longer then CSK might have good runs on the scoreboard. Shivan Dube scored 45 runs in 34 balls with two fours and four sixes whereas Sjinkya Rahane played quite slow cricket as he scored 35 runs in 30 balls.
In the death overs, Ravindra Jadeja took the responsibility of finishing and scored 31 runs in 23 balls therefore Chennai Super Kings scored 165 runs with the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. From the SRH Bowling Department, Pat Cummins, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T. Natarajan and other two bowlers took one wicket each.
An Easy run-chase of SRH after Abhishek’s 37 runs Inning:
Sunrisers Hyderabad easily chased the target and won their second match of the tournament. While Chasing, SRH had an excellent start as they scored 78 runs in the batting powerplay with the loss of only one wicket. Both the openers played superb innings for their team, Abhishek Sharma scored 37 runs in 12 balls whereas Travis Head scored 31 runs in 24 balls.
Later on, Aiden Markram took charge and played a responsible inning and led SRH to victory. Markram scored 50 runs in 36 balls with four fours and one sixes. However, In the end, Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was playing his first match of the tournament finished the match by playing a small but impactful inning of 14 runs.
From the Chennai Super Kings bowling department, Moeen Ali took two wickets whereas Deepak Chahar and Maheesh Theekshana took one wicket each.
