Mumbai Indian IPL 2023: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 has not yet begun, but there has been a commotion among the teams since the auction. In the meantime, Arun Jagadeesh, who played local cricket for 16 years, has been hired by the five-time IPL champion Mumbai Indians as an assistant batting coach. Arun Kumar, a right-handed opening batsman, has participated in more than 100 first-class games. He was a member of Karnataka’s domestic cricket team from 1993 to 2008.
He quit playing cricket, but after his team won the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Irani Cup, and Ranji Trophy, he was hired as Karnataka’s batting coach. He also served as the squad’s head coach for Puducherry, and as of 2020, he has been in the same position for the US national cricket team.
There are many well-known names among the Mumbai Indians’ support staff. The team’s icon is Sachin Tendulkar, while Mahela Jayawardene is the franchise’s global president. Mark Boucher will now be the coach of the Mumbai Indians. Shane Bond is associated with the team as bowling coach, Kieron Pollard as batting coach, and James Pamment as fielding coach.
In the most recent IPL auction, the Mumbai Indians acquired a number of prominent names. Cameron Green, an Australian all-rounder, and the seasoned Piyush Chawla have both been acquired by Mumbai for a combined sum of Rs 17.50 crore.
