09. M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, India – (50,000 Seating Capacity):
The M. A. Chidambaram Cricket Stadium was established in 1916 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is also the second oldest Cricket ground in India after Eden Gardens Kolkata. The stadium is used to host several International, National and IPL fixtures.
MA Chidambaram Stadium is also known as Chepauk Stadium and serves as the home ground for Tamil Nadu Cricket Team as well as IPL’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Recently, Chepauk hosted two Test games between India and England which were equally won by both teams.
It has a seating capacity of 50,000 people at a time and comes ninth in the list.
