The first Australian Cricket Ground to feature in the list. Adelaide Oval is situated in South Australia. The stadium is mainly used to host Cricket matches, but other sports are also organised here. Besides Cricket, Adelaide Cricket Ground also hosts Australian rules football, rugby league, rugby union, soccer, tennis.
Built way back in 1871, Adelaide is often termed as one of the most picturesque Test cricket grounds in Australia, if not the world.
It has a seating capacity of over 55,000 people and is home ground to South Australia Cricket team and Big Bash League’s (BBL’s) Adelaide Strikers.
