IPL 2023: Virat Kohli reached another milestone in his cricketing career after completing 7000 runs in IPL, becoming the first player in IPL history who reached the milestone of 7000 runs.

On 6th May 2023, Kohli reached a milestone in his IPL career by becoming the first batsman in the IPL’s history to score 7000 runs. A historic moment at Arun Jaitley Stadium during the match between DC and RCB, Local boy Virat Kohli completed 7000 runs in IPL at his home ground, it was a proud moment for all the fans at Arun Jaitley to see Virat after completion of 7000 runs. 

Kohli achieved this milestone during RCB’s match against the Delhi Capitals in Delhi. He needed 12 runs to reach the milestone and did so in style by hitting a four to Axar Patel in the 2nd over of the first innings. Kohli achieved his feat with his consistency and dedication to the game.

Virat Kohli has been playing IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) Franchise since 2008. He became the most reliable performer of the RCB team and scored a lot of runs for RCB over the years.

Kohli’s IPL record is outstanding, he has played 234 matches and has an average of 36.15 and a strike rate of 129.41. He has also hit five centuries and 39 fifties, which makes him one of the most consistent performers in the IPL’s history.
