Virat Kohli INJURED ahead of Pakistan clash in 2025 ICC Champions Trophy

India batter Virat Kohli faced an injury scare ahead of the game against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. As per the reports in the Times of India, it is learned that the batter was seen using an ice pack on his leg a day ahead of the match against arch-rivals. 

Virat Kohli reportedly came three hours earlier for the net session and called some of the best bowlers from the UAE to get ready for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy clash against Pakistan National Cricket Team. He seemed to be making sure that he put everything in place. 

Virat Kohli, however, at the end of the session, was seen using an ice pack on his leg. The batter faced a blow on his left leg and was seen sitting in the dugout. It is speculated that he has a soreness, and hence, he is expected to recover ahead of the Pakistan clash.

The match between India and Pakistan in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is set to take place on Sunday (23rd February). The match will be taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, where reportedly all the tickets have been sold out.

Virat Kohli didn't have a great outing in India's first game against Bangladesh. The premier batter looked torrid at the crease and couldn't carry on the start that he got. However, it didn't cost his team much as India went on to win the game by the margin of 4 wickets. 

Virat Kohli would be keen to make an impact for India against Pakistan. If the Rohit Sharma-led side wins the next game, they will almost book their place in the semi-final of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
