T20 World Cup 2021 Final: The cricket pundits have begun predicting the prizewinner of the coveted trophy of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. On the eve of the T20 World Cup 2021 final between Australia and New Zealand, former England cricketer Kevin Peterson and former Australian cricketer Shane Warne have put their votes on the best team (according to them) to lift the title.
Both the cricketers have foreseen Australia to be the sure-shot winner of the all-important T20 World Cup in Dubai.
Peterson asserted that the past record between Australia and New Zealand in knockout matches indicates an edge to Australia over New Zealand.
“New Zealand seem to have all bases covered, but I fancy Australia. History suggests that when you get these two together in a major final, the Aussies blow the Kiwis away. It’s what happened in the 2015 50-over final in Melbourne. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Australia lift the trophy on Sunday.”
The former Englishmen added that Australia have done well in do or die situations in the past and are capable of doing extraordinary in the coming match.
“It’s the Australian way that when it’s do or die, they do. They’ll just get the job done. That’s why they’ve been a formidable opponent for such a long time. If they get themselves into a semi-final of a major tournament, they’ll find something extra.”

Shane Warne also picks Australia as the winner:
Shane Warne has also fancied the mighty Aussies to be the winner of the T20 World Cup 2021 final on 14th November in Dubai International Stadium.
“It’s been a cracking tournament so far and how good were those two semifinals? Gotta feel for England and Pakistan but they were two ripping games. So congratulations to New Zealand and Australia for making it to the final. I think I will go for Australia to lift their first-ever T20 trophy after a thrilling win over Pakistan in the semi-final. After the way they finished I think they have got a lot of momentum,” said Shane Warne.
Both Australia and New Zealand have never won the ICC T20 World Cup title. The clash between Australia and New Zealand will give the world a new T20 champion. Prior to this India, Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka and West Indies have emerged as the winners.
