Watch: Mohammad Amir comes up with extra aggressive celebration after removing Babar Azam in PSL 2025

Quetta Gladiators pacer Mohammad Amir gave a tough time to Peshawar Zalmi batter Babar Azam in a clash between the two teams in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025. The match between the two teams took place on Sunday (27th April).

Mohammad Amir breathed fire with the new ball in the game between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi. The left-arm pacer moved the new ball both ways and troubled the opposition batters with his pace and swing, taking his team off to a flying start.

Mohammad Amir's battle with Babar Azam was one of the highlights of the game. The Quetta Gladiators pacer bowled four balls to the batter and it didn't even once look that he looked comfortable. On all four balls, the left-hander tested him.

The first ball that Mohammed Amir bowled to Babar Azam was a bouncer that struck the batter hard on the helmet. He underwent a concussion test and, after that, managed just a single-off pacer's bowling before getting out.

Mohammed Amir bowled a vicious inswinger that rapped Babar Azam on the pads, and an umpire didn't take much time to raise a finger. This made pacer extremely animated as he set off for an celebration.

Mohammad Amir ran towards the Gladiators' dugout, where mentor Viv Richards was present. He gestured something to him, and the legend, in turn, came up with a heartfelt response, telling the fast bowler to stay calm.

Here's the video:

Mohammad Amir returned with the figures of 1/18. Apart from him, Faheem Ashraf took five wickets as Quetta Gladiators thrashed Peshawar Zalmi by 54 runs.
