In an attempt to take advantage of the powerplay against England, Kohli was clean bowled by Reece Topley. After which, he looked angry, and Kohli sat dejectedly in the dressing room. Coach Dravid went to him and was seen consoling him.
This season, King Kohli’s bat has remained silent throughout the tournament in the T20 World Cup 2024. The 35-year-old player has scored at an average of just 10.71 in the 7 matches played in the entire tournament. All the fans expected that Kohli would definitely score on a big stage like the semi-finals but this was not possible.
