The focus is on Captain Rohit Sharma as India National Cricket Team will be kick-starting their journey in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. The tournament is all set to begin on 19th February, with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in the tournament opener. 

India National Cricket Team will be opening their campaign in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy against Bangladesh on 20th February. The Rohit Sharma-led side will be playing all their games at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai as the hybrid model for the tournament was accepted. 

Rohit Sharma will be extremely important for the India National Cricket Team in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. The right-hander was undergoing a lean patch but recently made a strong comeback in the second ODI against England, where he slammed a terrific century. 

Rohit Sharma now will be entering the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy high on confidence. The skipper also looked great in the nets as Team India began their preparations for the tournament. The reports claimed that the batter looked pretty confident in the nets. 

It was learned that Rohit Sharma played some brilliant shots and also rotated the strike well. The India captain also played pull shots to perfection barring two mistimed shots. However, he was troubled by a few inswinging balls by Arshdeep Singh.

While he has been putting hard yards in the nets, he also was at the receiving end of a hilarious moment. As Rohit Sharma, along with Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, was moving to the car for the photoshoot session, the India captain slipped a bit, but thankfully for him, he didn't fall. The video went viral on the internet.

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be extremely important for Rohit Sharma as a leader. The India skipper came under a lot of pressure for losing games against New Zealand and Australia. He won the ICC T20 World 2024 for India and would be hoping to replicate the same.
