Young Rajasthan Royals batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi stole the limelight with his brilliant innings in the game against Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The game between the two teams took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday (20th May).
14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi came up with another brilliant innings in the ongoing IPL 2025. Chasing the target of 188 runs, the opening batter played a mature innings and made sure that he helped Rajasthan Royals win their third game of the season and end the league on high.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi first played second fiddle to Yashasvi Jaiswal, and then once the senior batter was back in the hut, the youngster made sure that he took charge. The young batter slammed the Chennai Super Kings bowlers all over the park and put them under pressure.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is known for his brutal hitting, played one of his best innings in the league as he understood the situation brilliantly and won the game for his team. He went on to hit a magnificent half-century and his knock ensured that his team put one step past the finishing line.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi ended up playing an innings of 57 runs off 33 balls. The Rajasthan Royals opener batted with a strike rate of over 189 as he slammed five boundaries and two sixes during his stay at the crease against Chennai Super Kings.
While his innings were one for everyone to see, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also caught the attention of many with his gesture for MS Dhoni after the game. As both the teams were involved in post-match handshakes, the young batter touched the feet of Dhoni.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's innings helped Rajasthan Royals seal the game by 6 wickets. Apart from that, Yashasvi Jaiswal (36), Sanju Samson (41) and Dhruv Jurel (41*) also played variants innings as the Sanju Samson-led side chased the target in the 18th over.
