Watch: Varun Chakravarthy takes perfect revenge; Castles Jamie Overton after getting hit for two sixes
India mystery spinner had another decent outing with the ball for the team, as he has made a vital impact for his side in the ongoing second T20I against England. The match between the teams is taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Varun Chakravarthy was all over the England batters in the first three overs of his spell. But was taken to the cleaners by Brydon Carse in the last over of his spell. The England all-rounder started the over on high as he slammed two back-to-back sixes to put the spinner under immense pressure.
Brydon Carse hit Varun Chakravarthy for a massive six in the long on region on the first ball and then hit another maximum on the next ball to put the spinner under pressure. This didn't go well with the mystery spinner as he made sure that he took his revenge in the same over only.
Although he couldn't take the wicket of Brydon Carse, he made sure he sent Jamie Overton packing. Varun Chakravarthy bowled a googly, which the batter failed to pick as he looked to work it into the leg side. He got beaten on the inside edge as the ball crashed onto the stump

Coming to the match, England yet again had another disappointing outing with the bat. Skipper Jos Buttler (45) and Brydon Carse (35) were the only batters who got past the 30-run mark, while Jamie Smith managed 22 runs off 12 balls. Their effort saw England posting a total of 165 runs.
