The league will kick-start from 31st March and if we talk about Royal Challengers Bangalore, they are expected to kick start their training from 25th March. However, a day after that the franchise announced an event called RCB Unbox. The event will take place on 26th March and it’ll see a variety of programmes in Hall of Fame induction, jersey reveal and other things. To the delight of the fans, the iconic trio of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle will be present at the event.

Ahead of the RCB unbox event, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers interacted with each other on live video chat on YouTube. They were left in splits over a viral meme video of an African anchor laughing over Manchester United’s loss in the English Premier League.
Considered as the legends of the game, both De Villiers and Kohli have taken world cricket by storm. While the Proteas batter retired from the game ahead of the IPL last year, the Indian batter is still going strong and is breaking numerous records along the way.
It’s fair to say that Kohli and De Villiers have played an instrumental role in making Royal Challengers Bangalore the brand it is today in franchise cricket. Ever since they joined the team they have had some staggering knocks and have single-handedly won many games for their side.
Apart from their heroics on the field, they share a great camaraderie between them as they were mostly seen having fun and chilling together during the IPL days. The duo has also been quite vocal about their relationship in public as well and have many times complimented each other for their success.
On Tuesday (21st March), AB de Villiers interviewed Virat Kohli during a live video chat on YouTube. While the Indian batter answered a few questions related to the game, the duo also were seen sharing a light moment on the field.
During the chat, the former South African player revealed his and Kohli’s favourite video. And as the De Villiers played the clip, both of them couldn’t control their laughter and were left in splits. IPL 2023: RCB would be hoping for an IPL title in the 16th edition of the league
Royal Challengers Bangalore will open their campaign against Mumbai Indians at Chinnaswamy stadium on 2nd April. The Faf du Plessis-led side is yet to win the IPL and it’ll be another opportunity for them to bag the title.
They had a decent auction this time around as roped in some exciting talents in Reece Topley, Himanshu Sharma, Michael Bracewell, Will Jacks, Manoj Bhandage, Rajan Kumar, Avinash Singh and Sonu Yadav. RCB qualified for the playoffs last season but was eliminated in Qualifier 2. They would be hoping to go two steps ahead of last year and clinch their maiden title.
