The upcoming clash between the two rivals promises to be a really exciting and intense contest and the Men in Blue would be looking to avenge their humiliating T20 World Cup 2022 defeat against the Jos Buttler-led team.

The match is scheduled to start at 10:30am local-time (8:00 PM IST) and if the rain continues to last throughout the day, then the tournament organisers have been given the permission to wait till the evening period to see if the match can take place and a result can be guaranteed. Due to Broadcasting and logistics reasons, the second semi final between India and England has not been allotted any reserve day by the ICC.

If the contest gets washed out without a single delivery being bowled, then 2007 winners India will be declared as the winners and will automatically qualify for the final of ICC’s Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. This result will be determined on the basis of the Men in Blue’s better Super eight performance as they finished at the top of Group number one while Jos Buttler and his men finished at the second position of Group number two.
