Dushmantha Chameera is a professional cricketer from Sri Lanka. He was born on January 11, 1992, in Rambukkana, Sri Lanka. He is a right-arm fast bowler who has represented Sri Lanka in all formats of the game – Test, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
Chameera made his international debut for Sri Lanka in November 2014 in a Test match against New Zealand. He made his ODI debut in June 2015 against Pakistan, and his T20I debut came a few days later in July 2015, also against Pakistan.
Chameera is known for his ability to generate pace and bounce, which makes him a potent fast bowler. He has had some notable performances in his career, including a four-wicket haul against England in a Test match in 2021, and a five-wicket haul against Bangladesh in an ODI in 2017.
