Women’s Asia Cup T20 2024: From the men’s action, the attention now shifts to Women’s cricket and it is a big event of ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024. Sri Lanka is set to host the tournament this year and the tournament is set to commence on 19th July 2024. Starting with just two teams in 2004 (India and Sri Lanka), eight teams are taking part in the 2024 event with Nepal Women’s being the new entry.
Indian Women have dominated the Asian countries in Cricket and this is pretty evident with India winning seven out of the eight editions played till now. This will be the ninth edition of the tournament and Sri Lanka is all set to host the 8-team competition in T20 format.
The eight teams of Asia are divided into two groups- GROUP A and GROUP B. Let’s take a look at the two groups and the teams divided:

Among those eight teams, a sum of 15 matches will be played including three knockout matches. Each team will play three matches in the group stage and the top two teams from each group will play in the semifinals.
