Pakistan Women vs India Women faced each other in the 7th match of the group stage of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai where Harmanpreet Kaur & Co defeated Pakistan Women by six wickets to register their first win of the tournament.

Pakistani women captain Fatima Sana won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, PAK-W scored 105 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. In bowling, Arundhati Reddy took three wickets for India-W, Shreyanka Patil took two wickets, while Asha Sobhana, Deepti Sharma and Renuka Singh took one wicket each.

India Women chased the target of 105 runs in 18.5 overs at the loss of four wickets and won the match. Opener Shafali Verma scored 35 runs, Jemimah Rodrigues scored 23 and Harmanpreet Kaur scored 29 runs. This match was a must-win game for Indian Women as the team had lost the first match of the tournament against New Zealand Women.

West Indies Women and Scotland Women were facing each other in the Group B match, West Indies Women won this match by six wickets in just 11.4 overs and made a big improvement in the run rate; West Indies Women had lost the first match of the tournament against South Africa Women by 10 wickets.
