WPL 2024 Points Table | Orange Cap & Purple Cap Holder List After WPL 2024 Eliminator | RCB vs MI Match Highlights: In the WPL 2024 Eliminator, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Mumbai Indians by 5 runs and qualified for the WPL 2024 Finals. This is the first time that RCB has qualified for the WPL Final however, all credit goes to Australian Player Ellyse Perry, who played a match-winning knock of 66 runs in the knockout match.
Royal Challengers Bangalore Skipper Smriti Mandhana led the team well in the pressure game and also RCB had a low total to defend. RCB bowled well in the death overs which led Mumbai Indians batters under pressure therefore they played some bad shots and got out at the crucial time. The Player of the Match was Ellyse Perry for her wonderful performance in the WPL 2024 Eliminator.
After Winning the match against Mumbai Indians, now RCB will be playing the WPL 2024 Final match against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on March 17, 2024. However, Delhi Capitals has played exceptional cricket so far in the tournament and it is going to be exciting to watch both teams clashing for the WPL 2024 Trophy.

WPL 2024 Eliminator RCB vs MI Match Highlights:
Royal Challengers Bangalore batted first but they failed to have a good start as they lost three wickets in the powerplay. But, Ellyse Perry stood from one end and kept scoring runs however wickets were falling from the other end. Perry stood till last and led RCB to a defendable score of 135 runs in 20 overs.
Ellyse Perry scored 66 runs in 50 balls whereas Georgia Wareham scored 18 runs in 10 balls. Hayley Matthews, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Saika Ishaque took two wickets for Mumbai Indians in this match. Overall, the Mumbai Indians played well in the first inning as their bowlers did a fantastic job by restricting RCB under 150.
While Chasing the target, the Mumbai Indians had a good start but this didn’t last long as their run rate got lower in the middle overs which put their batters under pressure therefor they lost their wickets. MI Skipper Harmapreet Kaur scored 33 runs in balls and MI was in a good position when she was on the crease but after Harmanpreet got out, RCB dominated the game.
In the end, RCB won the WPL 2024 Eliminator against the defending champions Mumbai Indians. Shreyanka Patil took two wickets from RCB’s bowling department however, other bowlers didn’t do well but they got some wickets.
