WPL 2025 Auction: The conclusion of the WPL 2025 Auction, held in Bengaluru, has left us with complete information about the full squads of all five franchises. In this mini-auction, we saw an intense bidding war between the five teams for certain players, and we present you with the full squads of all the franchises after the Auction.
A total of 19 slots were available, and the teams showed a clear focus on scouting fresh, uncapped Indian talent. This trend highlighted their forward-thinking approach, prioritizing long-term growth and development over immediate results. It wasn’t just about filling gaps; it was about building a future, investing in raw potential, and nurturing the stars of tomorrow.
Simran Shaikh, an uncapped player from Mumbai, stole the spotlight at the auction, becoming the most expensive player of the day. The Gujarat Giants went all out to secure her, showing their confidence in her potential. Meanwhile, West Indian all-rounder Deandra Dottin became the costliest overseas pick, with the Gujarat Giants signing her for a whopping ₹1.70 crore. Both moves underscored the team's bold strategy to blend emerging talent with proven international stars.
