WTC Final 2023, Virat and Rahane led India in Good Position: India and Australia are playing ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 at Kennington Oval Cricket Ground, England.

India showed good resistance to Australian Bowlers on Day 4 and scored 164 runs with the loss of only three wickets. Virat and Rahane made a partnership of 71 runs for the 4th wicket. Ravindra Jadeja has taken four wickets in this WTC Final 2023.

Australia Declared the second inning on Day 4 after scoring 270 runs, Australia scored 443 runs on the scoreboard, and If India wants to lift the WTC Final Trophy, Then they have to score 444 runs and registers a record for the highest run chase in test cricket.

Australia gave India 444 runs target in WTC Final 2023:

The Australian Team played decent cricket on Day 4, as they could make only 270 runs with the loss of 8 wickets in 84.3 overs. A Brilliant Partnership of 93 runs for the 7th wicket between Mitchell Starc and Alex Carey.

This Partnership has increased the Lead with significant numbers. Alex Carey has scored 66 runs, whereas Marnus Labuschagne and Mitchell Starc scored 41 runs each in their second inning of this match.

Indian Bowlers have learned the lesson from the first innings and didn’t let the Aussies dominate in any session except the Partnership between Mitchell Starc and Alex Carey, but a catch was also dropped of Alex Carey when Starc came to bat. Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets, whereas Mohd. Shami and Umesh Yadav got two wickets each.

India made 164 runs on Day 4 with loss of three wickets:

India Showed good intent on Day 4 after having bad performances on Day 1 and Day 2. India has made 164 runs in 40 overs in their Second inning but still needs 280 runs to lift the ICC WTC Final 2023 Trophy. Skipper Rohit Sharma led his Team to a good start but unfortunately lost his wicket by scoring 43 runs in the 20th over of their second innings.

The Wall Chateshwar Pujara didn’t perform well in both innings of the WTC Final 2023. Still, the good thing was Chase Master, Virat Kohli, and Ajinkya Rahane were playing cricket and made a partnership of runs for the 4th wicket.

Australian Bowlers had a decent bowling performance on Day 4, as they took only three wickets. Cummins, Boland and Lyon have taken one wicket each.
