The fourth Test match between India and England is being played at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi. In this match, the Indian team’s young batsman, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has performed amazingly. He has played an inning of 72 runs in just 117 balls. Before this, he had scored 80 runs in the first test match, 209 runs in the second test match, and had played an unbeaten inning of 214 runs in the third test match. 22nd year Jaiswal is going through a rich vein of form and by hitting a six in the fourth test match against England, Jaiswal has broken the 16-year-old record of Virender Sehwag.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 72 runs in the Ranchi Test against England, including eight fours and one six. He now holds the record for the most sixes hit in a calendar year of Test cricket in India. In this regard, he has risen to the top position. He has left behind former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag. Sehwag scored 22 sixes in Test cricket in 2008. Jaiswal has already hit 23 sixes in Test cricket in 2024.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, who made his debut against the West Indies in 2023, has so far played 8 Test matches in white jersey for the Indian team, in which he has made 934 runs at an average of about 71. At such a young age, he has become an important link in the Indian batting act. While no other batsman has been able to score even 300 runs in the England Test series, Jaiswal has scored 618 runs so far.

In the fourth Test match being played between England and India, Ben Stokes and company batted first and scored 353 runs in the first innings while batting 104.5 overs. In reply, by the end of the second day’s play, the Indian team had scored 219 runs at the loss of seven wickets, Rohit and co. were still trailing by 134 runs. On the third day, wicketkeeper batsmen Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav will take the Indian innings forward. Jurel 30, while Kuldeep is batting on 17 runs.
