Yashasvi Jaiswal takes a U-turn, shamelessly requests MCA to not consider his Goa shift
In what has been the latest development, as per the reports in Indian Express, it is learned that Yashasvi Jaiswal has taken a massive u-turn in his career. The India National Cricket Team batter has again expressed his desire to play for Mumbai after deciding to go to Goa.
Yashasvi Jaiswal recently hogged the headlines when he mentioned that he will be playing for Goa in domestic cricket. The left-hander said that he has been offered a leadership role, and hence, he wants to progress in his career going ahead.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was asked for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to switch from Mumbai to Goa. However, the young batter took a U-turn and said that he wanted to continue playing for Mumbai this season as his plans had changed.

Writing in an official mail, Yashasvi Jaiswal said that he is withdrawing his NOC as his family's plans to shift to Goa were curtailed. He requested MCA to allow him to play for one more season with Mumbai. He said:
“I the undersigned would request your goodself to consider my request in withdrawing my NOC given to me as I had some family plans in shifting to Goa which for now has been curtailed ! So I sincerely request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season ! I have not submitted the NOC to BCCI nor to Goa Cricket Association,”
The Mumbai Cricket Association, however, hasn't taken any step and will be announcing it soon. Coming to Yashasvi Jaiswal, the left-hander has been brilliant with the bat for Mumbai as well as the India National Cricket Team. He was last seen in action during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was the best batter for India in the series. He slammed 391 runs in five Tests at an average of 43.44. His tally included one hundred and two half-centuries as well.
