Yashasvi Jaiswal vs Ajinkya Rahane ! Young batter kicks Mumbai captain's kit bag in anger
India National Cricket Team batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has been in the news for the last few days. This is because the opening batter changed his state team from Mumbai to Goa, and the move sent shockwaves to many, especially with him being an integral part of a team.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, while talking about his move to Goa from Mumbai, said that the new state offered him a leadership role, and hence he got tempted. He added that he will be giving his best to take Goa to New heights. Speaking to Indian Express, he said:
"Goa has thrown me a new opportunity, and it has offered me a leadership role. My first goal will be to do well for India, and whenever I'm not on national duty, I will be playing for Goa and trying to take them deep into the tournament,"
However, a report in India today has revealed something else. It is learned that the batter's move to Goa came in the wake of his poor relationship with Mumbai skipper Ajinkya Rahane. It all started during the Duleep Trophy final between South Zone and West Zone when WZ captain Ajinkya Rahane sent the young batter back to the dressing room.
This happened when Yashasvi Jaiswal was sledging the batter despite multiple warnings from the umpire. This made Ajknkya Rahane send the batter back to the dressing room. This reportedly didn't go well with the young batter, and things between the duo got heated up during the Ranji Trophy game against J&K.
Mumbai coach coach Omkar Salvi and skipper Ajinkya Rahane questioned Yashasvi Jaiswal's commitment, batter kicks Rahane's kit back
Mumbai coach coach Omkar Salvi and skipper Ajinkya Rahane questioned Jaiswal's commitment, and it left the young opener fuming. It is learned that the young batter then kicked Rahane's kit back. And since then, the young batter has been trying to move out of Mumbai.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, in a short period, has become the backbone of the Indian team in the Tests. The young batter has delivered terrific performances for the team in the format. He will be next seen in action for India during the England Test series, which begins on 20th June.
