Yuzi Chahal, who is currently preparing for the IPL 2025 edition for Punjab Kings, which is his new team, Chahal has always been seen as the entertainer of his squad. Yuzi Chahal's reels with the Rajasthan Royals teams had gone viral and the trend seemed to be the same to with his new team Punjab Kings.
In a video, Yuzi Chahal could be seen in a practice session where he made a comment. One of his comments was: "Yes, it's a two." This line which was generally used by Mohammad Rizwan during his running between the wickets.In the same video, chahal also teased his teammate Shashank Singh by saying “Darr gye kya?”, Yuzi played a few balls in the net, and by playing every ball,l he use to speak some funny words
In the Indian Premier League 2025 edition's mega auction, Chahal was sold to Punjab Kings for Rs 18 crore, marking him as the costliest spin bowler in the T20 league. The previously Wanindu Hasranga has this remark with Rs 10.75 crore picked up by Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
Chahal played for Rajasthan Royals from the 2022-2024 edition of the Indian Premier League and he emerged as a key player for his team. However, Chahal wasn't retained by the Rajasthan Royals franchise ahead of the mega auction. Currently, with 205 wickets in the Indian Premier League, Chahal is the Highest wicket taker in the IPL. And before that, Chahal was also part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team where he was the top performer with the ball for the team.
The Chahal wasn't a part of the Indian team squad in any of the formats of the game and will be aiming to make a comeback into the Indian side by performing in the upcoming edition of the IPL. The Yuzi Chahal played T20I against West Indies on 13 August was his last.
Although he was a part of India's T20I World Cup 2024 squad. But Chahal didn't get to play any game as the team preferred the left-arm china man bowler Kuldeep Yadav ahead of him.
Yuzvendra Chahal was also seen in the ICC Champions Trophy final where Yuzi was seated in the stadium, not a player but as an audience.
Yuzi Chahal Switching focus to the domestic cricket, Chahal played Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he took 19 wicket at a strike rate of 15.00 but He didn't take part in the premier 50-over tournament Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Now, as Yuzi Chahal is seen to be good in his domestic cricket, Chahal may try to replicate his Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy forms in the Punjab Kings Jersey, and Yuzi Chahal will also look to make Ithe Indian Premier League 2025 edition his proving ground.
