'Our Son is not a subject of entertainment', Sanjana Ganesan knocks down trolls ridiculing Baby Angad Bumrah
The 45th match of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 was played between five-time winners Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the iconic Wankhede Stadium of Mumbai. In this match, the Mumbai-based team secured the win by a margin of 54 runs. Jasprit Bumrah's wife Sanjana Ganesan was also present in the stands with their son Angad to watch this big match between the two teams. As soon as the camera's attention went to Angad, it started going viral on social media. His every reaction was captured on camera. After which Bumrah's son started being discussed rapidly.
Jasprit Bumrah's wife Sanjana Ganesan was sitting in the stadium with her son Angad in her lap and was cheering. Angad's reaction caught everyone's attention. After which various kinds of things started happening on social media. Some started comparing him with his father, while some people started talking about other things. Meanwhile, Sanjana has now shared a cryptic story on her official Instagram account, in which she fiercely targeted the media regarding Angad.
'Anything can be shown on the internet'
Sanjana Ganesan expressed her anger in a post about her son Jaspreet Bumrah. She wrote, "Our son is not a subject of entertainment. Jasprit and I make every effort to keep our son away from social media, because everything is shown on the internet, true or false. In such a situation, I do not wish to bring my child to a stadium full of cameras. You all please understand that Angad and I were there to support Jaspreet. There was nothing else apart from this."
'It is decided in a 3 second video clip'
Jasprit Bumrah expressed his anger on the keyboard warriors and said, "We are not interested in our son becoming viral on internet content or national news, in which it is unnecessarily decided in a 3-second video who Angad is, what his problem is, what kind of behavior he has."
"You don't know anything about our son"
Sanjana Ganesan further wrote, "He is a one and a half year old child. Using words like trauma and depression in reference to a small child says a lot about what we are becoming as a community. It is really sad. You don't know anything about our son. You don't know anything about our lives. So please keep your opinions online. A little honesty and kindness goes a long way in today's world."
