India vs Bangladesh T20I: After the end of the red ball series ahead of the initiation of the shortest format of the white-ball games, India looks to enter a commanding position further as they extend their winning streak further in the shortest format of the game.
Following the Bangladesh series, India will not feature further in the T20 matches, however, the a continuous quest for players who can replace the ones who are leaving the shortest format. Several new players have been included in the Squad for both teams.
Let?s take a look at the possible player battles ahead of the 1st T20I:
3. Abhishek Sharma vs Mustafizur Rehman
The exceptionally talented opener, Abhishek Sharma has once again been called ahead of the T20I series and this is another chance for him to excel when in the absence of the frontline openers.
Abhishek started scoring in the competition, as he dominated with his maiden international century in just the second appearance he made in the shortest format. However, one weak spot in his batting seems his often dismissals to slower balls as a result of his fastest scoring rates. Hence, the experienced Mustafizur might cause hindrance to their innings.
2. Suryakumar Yadav vs Tanzid Hasan
The Indian skipper is one of the biggest possible threats in the Indian batting lineup, as he has emerged as not only India?s but the world?s one of the finest talents in T20 cricket. Hence, this stands as the most vital wicket for any opponent team.
While Tanzid Hasan was the one who dismissed the batter in the T20 World Cup as well, Tanzid has evolved as one of Bangladesh's finest pace options, with SKY being completely invincible to spin.
1. Rinku Singh vs Mehidy Hasan Miraz
While Rinku Singh the KKR batter has evolved as one of the finest finishing options for India, and he has occasionally played the finest of innings in his short yet decorated T20I career.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Bangladesh?s MVP has evolved in the meantime and has been recalled to the shortest format as well, with his all-round skills he will be better as a batter and also a quality spinner, replacing the likes of the veteran Shakib Al Hasan.
A fierce battle might be fought between these two players from either side.
