The five-match T20 series between Zimbabwe and India has come to an end, and the visitors won the series 4-1. It started with Zimbabwe winning the first game, but after that, the Men in Bkue didn't look back and won four consecutive matches comprehensively. Shubman Gill led the team well and won his first series as captain. India tried a lot of new faces in the series.

Some did well, while others couldn't perform as expected. The Men in Blue will now fly to Sri Lanka for three ODIs and three T20Is. The tour will start on July 27 with a three-match T20 series. Some of the top performers in the recent series will be rewarded with a place in the IND vs SL series. But some might never get another chance. In this article, we will talk about three youngsters who might not get another chance in the team.

Three Indian players who might not get another chance for India in T20Is

3. Sai Sudharsan

Sai Sudharsan has played a couple of ODIs for India already, but he made his T20I debut in the second IND vs ZIM game. He didn't get a chance to bat and was then replaced in the third game. India already have four openers: Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Abhishek Sharma; then Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav will be back, which will make it difficult for Sudharsan to get another game for the team in T20Is.

2. Tushar Deshpande

Tushar Deshpande India

The Mumbai pacer Tushar Deshpande made his debut in the fourth T20I and took one wicket on his debut. Then he took another wicket in the fifth game. He bowled six overs, gave away 56 runs at an economy rate of 9.33, and took two wickets in two matches. Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed bowled better than him. With Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Mohammed Siraj returning, it looks difficult for Deshpande to get a chance.

1. Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag India

The 24-year-old all-rounder came into the team with some good domestic and IPL form under his belt. But he couldn't capitalise it with either bat or ball. He played three games, batted in two innings, and scored only 24 runs. He only bowled one over in the series. With Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, and Shivam Dube already in the mix, it looks difficult for Riyan Parag to retain his place in the Indian team.
