His spell of 3/ 25 with the ball included price wickets of Mohammed Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah. His proved his brilliance with the bat too when he saved the day for his team with quick boundaries in the later half of the chase as well when things started to get tougher for India during the chase.

His innings of 33* off 17 balls helped India reach the target despite several hiccups midway between the chase.Hardik pandya was thus rightfully awarded the man of the match in the match.
