4 Young Indian Cricketers who performed brilliantly in the Tata IPL 2022: The Indian Premier League (IPL) sets the stage for young Indian talents to showcase their skills and perform well in the tournament. Ever since the inception of the tournament, we have seen several young players rising through the ranks and getting recognition for their talents. This concluded season of the Tata Indian Premier League was no different as India found a lot of young talented cricketers in the process.
The long two months tournament got wrapped a couple of nights ago with Gujarat Titans (GT) becoming the champions in their first season.
The addition of the two new teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) opened gates wide for youngsters to unearth their prowesses and talents. From Umran Malik?s thunderbolts to Rajat Patidar?s muscular sixes, here are the top 4 young Indian cricketers who performed brilliantly in the Tata IPL 2022.

Umran Malik:
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) express pacer Umran Malik has filled Indian cricket with excitement following his 150+ clicks thunderbolts. The Jammu and Kashmir pacer can consistently bowl over 145kmph, as seen in the IPL 2022.
Playing for SRH, Umran Malik scalped 22 wickets in 14 matches and was awarded as the ?Emerging Player of the Season.? The pacer was also handed his India call-up for five matches T20I series against South Africa, starting June 8.

Abhishek Sharma:
Following his struggle late down the order in finishing the innings for a couple of years, SRH finally gave Abhishek Sharma his desired role to start the innings for the orange army. The Amritsar based cricketer not only fulfilled the role bestowed on him but also became SRH?s highest run-getter in the tournament.
The 26-years old cricketer consistently provided brisk starts to SRH, despite his partner, Kane Williamson struggling at the other end. Abhishek Sharma scored a total of 426 runs in 14 matches of the Tata IPL 2022 at a strike rate of over 130 and an average of 30.43.
Rajat Patidar:
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) roped in Rajat Patidar for the remainder of the IPL 2022 after Luvnith Sisodia was injured and ruled out of the tournament. Patidar come in as a replacement and didn?t let the opportunity slip away from his hands.
The Indore based cricketer played one of the best knocks of the IPL 2022 scoring a century in just 43 deliveries in the eliminator against Lucknow Super Giants. Rajat Patidar muscled 333 runs for RCB in just seven innings at a brilliant average of 55.50.
From being unsold at the player auction 2022 to becoming RCB?s impactful performer, Rajat Patidar did exceedingly well throughout the tournament and helped RCB reach qualifier 2.
Tilak Verma:
Though Mumbai Indians (MI) suffered a bumpy season in the Indian Premier League, the franchise had several bright spots which kept them going in the tournament. Tilak Verma was one such bright spot for the five-time IPL champions.
The 19-year old cricketer firmly kept scoring in the middle order, no matter how his team performed. Verma not only played sensible cricket and saved Mumbai from a couple of humiliating debacles, but also accelerated the innings when required.
In his 14 innings in the IPL 2022, Tilak Verma scored 397 runs at an impressive average of 36.09 and a strike rate of 131.02.
