500+ sixes for Rohit Sharma: During the second ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka, captain Rohit Sharma became the first Indian and just the second player worldwide to hit 500 sixes in international cricket. When India was down to 207/9 in the 43rd over of the second ODI against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma came in to bat at number 9 and hammered 51 off 28 balls. He achieved so by tying Chris Gayle's gigantic world record.
In the second One Day International, The Tigers defeated Men In Blue by a narrow margin of five runs on Wednesday. The Indian skipper later stated that his thumb was dislocated and took a few stitches, but he still stepped out to bat, earning huge praise for his daring. He played a fantastic knock despite his injury, which made a one-sided game exciting.
