"Nahi ho raha" - Jasprit Bumrah left frustrated with this huge thing in the third IND vs AUS Test

India pacer Jasprit Bumrah looked unhappy with his short spell during the Day 1 of the ongoing third Test against Australia. The third game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is underway at the Gabba in Brisbane. 

India won the toss and opted to field first with overcast conditions on the fray. It was expected that the ball would do some talking trouble the batters, especially with the cloud over up. However, that wasn't the case, as conditions didn't favour pacers as was expected at the start of the play. 

India's bowling attack, led by Jasprit Bumrah, at the start, was visibly unhappy with the ball that was provided to them. However, it was quite evident why they were unhappy as there wasn't any big movement on the pitch, especially with grass there and overcast conditions. 

This made Jasprit Bumrah lose his cool as well during the fifth over of the match. The fast bowler attempted to alter his length and tried moving the ball. However, nothing was on offer, and the pacer, too, realised that there was no swing on offer, irrespective of the area where he hit the deck. 

This made him pass the message to his teammate as he said: “Nahi ho raha swing, kahin bhi kar (There is no swing no matter where you bowl)," Bumrah was heard over the stump microphone.

The opening day of the third Test between India and Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane was marred by rain. Only 13.2 overs were possible on Day 1 as the rain gods weren't kind, and it poured down heavily, forcing the umpires to call off the entire day. 

Australia openers Usman Khawaja (19*) and Nathan McSweeney (4*) were tested early on by Indian pacers in Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. However, they held their fort and ensured that they took their team off to a decent start. The rain stopped the play in the first session itself before umpires called off the entire day with Australia at 28/0. 

India bowlers now would be hoping that they find big help from the surface on Day 2. Jasprit Bumrah, in particular, would be keen to take early wickets and help his team get to the top of the game in the ongoing game.
