India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was at his hilarious best during the press conference after Day 3 of the ongoing Test against Australia. The third game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 between the teams is taking place at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Jasprit Bumrah attended a press conference after Day 3 of the match after the Indian team had a poor outing with the bat. The team was at the receiving end of dominance by the Australian bowlers as they lost four quick wickets in response to Australia's 445 runs.

As Jasprit Bumrah entered the media room, he was asked by one of the reporters to give his take on the Indian bowling. He, however, also said to Pacer that he is not the best person to answer, but he can give his verdict. The reporter asked:

“Hi, Jasprit. What is your assessment of the batting? Although you are not the best person to answer the question, what do you think about the situation of the team, considering the conditions in Gabba?"

However, Jasprit Bumrah came up with a savage response to this. The fast bowler hilarious mocked the reporter for questioning his batting ability. He asked him to Google the record of Most runs in an over in Tests. He said:

“It's an interesting question. But you are questioning my batting ability? You should use Google and see who has got the most number of runs in a Test over. But, jokes apart. That's another story."

For unversed, Jasprit Bumrah holds the record for Most runs in an over in Tests. The India pacer hammered 34 runs against Stuart Broad during an England vs India Test match in Birmingham back in 2022. During that over, he hit where he hit three fours and three sixes during his knock.

Jasprit Bumrah individually is having a great game with the ball. The pacer has claimed his second fifer in the series as he picked 6 wickets in the first innings, removing Usman Khawaja, Nathan McSweeney, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh and Mitchell Starc.

Overall, Jasprit Bumrah is the leading wicket-taker in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. In the three games so far in the ongoing series, he has picked 18 wickets and with the way he is going, the number is only expected to rise.
